After two ER trips on two continents, seeing 20 doctors, and multiple tests, Isaiah will have surgery on May 21.
We hoped for a sooner date, but it was difficult for three doctors to coordinate their schedules. One doctor will insert a g-tube, perform a nissin fundoplication (re-flux surgery), and correct a hietal hernia. Two other doctors will scope (examine) his airway and lungs.
The doctors also want to remove his tonsils to help with breathing and swallowing, but will wait until he gains some more weight.
Thank you!
Thank you every one for your many prayers and support!
All of this has been and continues to be very difficult, but Isaiah and our family would not have survived without God's intervention and numerous prayers.
